Mother duck with chicks at the San Diego Zoo

Filed under: San Diego Zoo — Tags: , — washaw @ 6:00 am

More than 3 million people each year visit the San Diego Zoo to see the 4,000 animals of 800 species that call the zoo home.   In fact, it is such a nice place some of our local ducks live at the zoo.   The mother duck pictured here has an amazing 20 chicks in tow.  She is carefully moving her family through the cafe between Elephant Mesa and the Koala Exhibit.  Check out all the birds at the zoo.

  4. Hi Walker, thanks for stopping by and leaving me a greeting at the Seguin blog! It’s always nice to meet new people, esp. if they know of or came from Seguin. 🙂 Let me know if you want to see anything/place you haven’t seen in a while and miss.

Hope you have a great weekend. I’m enjoying getting to know San Diego. I have only connected there but never got to explore. Looks beautiful!
