Two plants I need identified

Filed under: Nature — Tags: — washaw @ 6:00 am

Both of these plants are located at the San Diego Zoo turtle-lizard area. The bloom on this first one looks like a little yellow Christmas tree. The purple plant seems to be a succulent.

The second plant is some little knob like things that look a little like rocks.

  1. That first one looks like a Zwartkop Aeonium, they produce those big yellow blooms. Don’t know what the lumpy rocky one is. Like a weird mushroom, almost!

  2. The succulent is Euphorbia obesa.
