Shelter Island Park, Point Loma

Filed under: Places to visit — Tags: — washaw @ 6:00 am

Shelter Island Park spans most of the mile-long, secluded, resort island on San Diego Bay. From the island’s west end to the fishing pier, the park is a grassy area with picnic benches and shade trees. This section of park is ideal for bay-side fishing, enjoying a picnic, sitting back to take in the scenery, or reading a good book.
